HELPASSAM ("the Platform") is a flood relief coordination network operated by Nesocial Entertainment Pvt Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). The Platform connects flood-affected individuals, volunteers, and NGOs across Assam for rescue and relief coordination.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using HELPASSAM, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- One account per person or organization. Duplicate accounts may be removed.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Submit false or misleading help requests.
- Impersonate another person, NGO, or government body.
- Use the Platform for commercial advertising or spam.
- Upload harmful, offensive, or illegal content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems.
- Misuse emergency helpline information listed on the Platform.
5. Content & Posts
- You retain ownership of content you post (text, images).
- By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and store your content on the Platform for relief coordination purposes.
- We may remove content that violates these terms without prior notice.
- Posts are limited to 1000 characters and 2 images per post.
6. Help Requests
- Help requests submitted are visible to registered NGOs, volunteers, and the public.
- We do not guarantee response times or outcomes for any request.
- Filing false rescue or relief requests may result in account termination and may be reported to authorities.
7. Donations
- Donations are processed through third-party payment services.
- We allocate funds to the district with the lowest relief funding at the time of donation.
- Refund policies are subject to the third-party payment provider's terms.
8. Third-Party Services
The Platform uses third-party services for hosting, storage, email delivery, and payment processing. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of these services. Your use of the Platform is also subject to the terms of these third-party providers.
9. Disclaimer
- HELPASSAM is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of helpline numbers, NGO information, or user-submitted content.
- We are not a government agency and do not replace official disaster response channels.
- In emergencies, always call 1070 (State) or 112 (National) first.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nesocial Entertainment Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform. This includes but is not limited to delays in rescue or relief, data loss, or service interruptions.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Guwahati, Assam.
